Pat Reilly - Monroe County Legislature District 14

Pat and his wife Kim have lived in the Brighton/Penfield area for 23 years where they have raised their four wonderful children.  Pat is a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Penfield, where he served for 13 years as a Boy Scout leader.  He is also the Town Leader for the Brighton Republican Committee.

Pat will leverage his 25+ years of business executive experience to implement controlled-growth business policies to promote small businesses and to bring increased business investment, more jobs, and thus higher commercial tax revenue to Monroe County.  He will work tirelessly to turn our vacant store fronts and commercial properties into successful local businesses who employ our community members, and add to the richness of life in our communities.

Pat, like many of you, is beyond frustrated with the level of crime in the Rochester area.  Record homicides, car-jackings, smash and grabs, and drive-by shootings in broad daylight make all of us feel unsafe and is crushing our small businesses.  The Monroe County Sheriff's office has long-standing vacancies that are taking an incredibly long time to fill.  Both priority Police and EMS calls go unanswered waiting for available resources.  Pat will work to ensure our Police, Fire, and EMS Departments are fully supported to keep our community safe.

This year we must ensure we maintain a Republican majority in the County Legislature and prevent the pitfalls of one party rule that is ruining our state.  Pat has the endorsements of both the Republican and Conservative parties and he is ready to be a voice of reason for the issues you care about.
